Raid Alarm Configuration

Setup

  1. Purchase raid alarm from Bandito trader. Battery, Base and Sender.
  2. Assemble the parts at your base within range of your flagpole.
  3. Place the base, put the sender in your hands and attach with left click to base.
  4. Attach the battery.
  5. Equip pliers, and left click to set up the raid alert tower.
  6. You should now have an F hotkey available on the tower to display a menu.

It works via Discord and sends a message via a "webhook" to your team's discord server.

Webhook Creation

  1. Click the βš™ next to the channel you want the raid messages to display in
  2. Click "Create Webhook"
  3. It will create a default named "Captain Hook" like below alt text
  4. Click on this, rename it if you wish, and make sure the channel is correct where you'd like the messages to go.
  5. Afterwards, click copy Webhook URL: alt text
  6. Paste this url into the game UI menu here, using CTRL+V on your keyboard: alt text
  7. Make sure everything is saved in Discord, and the webhook is there.
  8. You can hit "check" on discord connection, to see if its working correctly.
  9. Successful set up will result in the following messages: alt text
  10. Click Manage Profile which will open a webpage in your browser to https://dayzync.de. This is where you link your discord account and steam account. alt text alt text
  11. Once this has been done and looks like the above, you can close the webpage.
  12. You can now send test messages and test the alarm with the buttons below: alt text
  13. You should receive messages in your discord channel that look like this: alt text

If you got this far, you've done it - well done!

Tip

If you wish, you can check the boxes for "Ping @ everyone, and/or ping @ here" to alert your team.

Warning

Make sure to SAVE YOUR CHANGES!

Note

  • When you are raided, the messages will be sent to your chosen discord & channel.
  • The raid alert tower will sound an air raid style siren which is pretty loud and nearby players not raiding you may also hear it.

Bug

There are some false positives, especially when you dismantle base items and structures. If you are making significant changes to your base, it is recommended to remove the raid alarm battery so you don't get spammed.**
